Artist's Notes: Apparently it's Drawing Day at DrawingDay.org, so as I've been wanting to draw another pic for a while, I used this as an excuse. I only spent a couple of hours on it, because I feel bad doing this when I should be doing other things (like finishing my ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) weasley_fest fic!) but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Hermione's head looks a little weird because of the perspective I think, and there are a couple of little dodgy parts but apart from that I like it. Ref pics used, of course... because HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT? :|
I also want to give this as a little early birthday present to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kath_ballantyne who is wonderful and I don't have enough money to actually buy her something this year so this will have to do. Emma, you inspire me and I am in awe of your talent.

Thank you for your flaily comment. I'm sorry I couldn't get it any smuttier or include more of your kinks, but this image popped into my head as soon as I read your request. I tried to include bondage (implied) and an element of role play. Thank you to the brilliant, beautiful kath_ballantyne for taking a look at it, giving me some advice, and assuring me that star54kar would like it!

I don't know how successful this is going to be, but I've been meaning to do it for a while and just got around to it.
There isn't really a decent Ron/Hermione community around these days that deals with fic/art alone. Some of the older communitues have been abandoned by the maintainers and are now filled with heaps of irrelevant graphics and news and pointless discussions, whilst others are disorganised or have strict rules that put people off posting to them.
I just wanted a simple, organised com that was all about the fic and/or art, so I decided to make one. It's open and un-moderated for EVERYONE to post their RON/HERMIONE fanfiction or fanart in an ORGANISED fashion. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE TAGGING.

If anyone is interested in this, please join/watch so I know that there's other people who are actually missing something like this. There's not much point having it if it's just going to be me posting my stuff to it, so if I don't get many people interested over the next few days or so I'll probably just delete it and carry on as I have been.

Happy Birthday to me...
I have FINALLY got around to reading Timeless by solstice_muse. It's been on my To Read list FOREVER and I've been spending every night this week with it. It hurts, and it's beautiful, and it's perfect.
For those of you who haven't read it yet (I think I may be the last one though) it's a beautiful Ron/Hermione (rated PG13/R for violence mostly) about Ron with a condition called Time Epilepsy. When you start reading it's a little confusing for a couple of chapters because the timeline jumps around a lot, of course. Stick with it though, because it gets easier to understand with each chapter until everything just starts to click in to place. I am in AWE of Shari and the amount of effort she must have put in to make this work.
And oh my, it works!

My drabble Painting was nominated at the rhr_awards and I'm so, so grateful. Thank you if you're reading this! XD
It did get me thinking though. To me, that drabble is nothing special and I know I wrote far better ones and far better fics. I just wonder what somebody saw in that one to think to nominate it. We all have different tastes/opinions I suppose...
Does this sound concieted or horrible in any way? I promise I don't mean it like that at all, I just thought it was interesting.

I occasionally go back and re-read fic that I've written, and often I think "Wow, that's kind of embarrassing, I hope I've got better than that now!"
However, I've just re-read the smutty Ron/Hermione Simply Irresistable that I wrote last August and I'm pretty damn proud of it. I remember I quite liked it at the time, but reading it again, I think it's even better than I thought. If you fancy 3500 words of Ron and Hermione reconnecting after months of working hard and having little time for each other, go and have a read!
Should I be ashamed of this post? Probably.
Am I? Not really.
